Home Cinema

Home cinema in Uganda

A home cinema is not a TV room. It is a dedicated room built for film: cinema seating, sound proofing, acoustic treatment and state of the art audio and video, all designed to work together.

PRO AV Africa provides full turnkey home cinemas in Uganda, from the first drawing to the final calibration. We design the sound, the picture and the room, and our trained resellers build it under our supervision.

What we provide

System design: screen size for the seating distance, speaker layout and seating plan
AV receivers and amplification: Denon, Marantz and Classé, for wired or wireless speaker systems
Speakers: in wall, on wall, bookshelf and floor standing speakers and subwoofers from Polk Audio, Bowers & Wilkins and Lithe Audio
Surround sound: from 5.1 up to full Dolby Atmos layouts such as 7.2.4 and 9.4.6
Picture: projector and screen or a large display, with projection screens matched to the room
Acoustics: guidance on sound proofing, absorption, diffusion and bass control, with EZ Acoustics treatment
A fully designed room: cinema chairs, wall panels and sound proofing finished to match
Connectivity and control: Kordz cables, Blustream HDMI distribution, and URC or Kramer control so one remote or app runs the whole room

Every speaker in the right place

Surround sound only works when every speaker sits at the right angle and distance from the main seat. We plan the layout for your room before anything is fixed to a wall.
