UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, upgraded the sound in its Kampala meeting room so people in the room hear each other clearly and remote participants on video calls hear everyone around the table.
What we delivered
Wireless microphones
Audio-Technica System 10 PRO digital wireless microphones on table stands, plus a wireless boundary microphone, so speakers can talk naturally without cables across the table.
Automatic mixing
An Audio-Technica digital mixer that opens only the microphone of the person speaking, cutting background noise and echo on calls.
Video conferencing integration
The microphones and room speakers are connected to the existing Cisco video conferencing system, so the same microphones serve both the room and the call.
Room speakers
Wall speakers for clear far-end audio and presentation sound across the room.
