Dante audio networking in Uganda
Dante, developed by Audinate, sends many channels of uncompressed audio over a standard Ethernet network. Microphones, mixers, processors and amplifiers connect to the network instead of long runs of multicore analogue cable, and routing is changed in software.
Dante AV extends the same approach to video. With one network for audio and video, systems are easier to expand and to manage across a whole building.
