The National Water and Sewerage Corporation water treatment plant at Katosi supplies drinking water to Kampala. Its administration and operations buildings needed a public address and emergency voice alarm system, so staff can be guided out quickly and safely in an emergency.
What we delivered
Emergency voice alarm
A TOA VM-3000 series voice alarm amplifier with fireman’s microphone and recorded emergency messages, giving clear spoken instructions instead of just a siren.
Ceiling speakers throughout
Ceiling speakers in corridors, offices and common areas, placed alongside the fire detection devices, zoned so messages reach one area or the whole building.
Everyday paging
The same system handles daily announcements and background music when there is no emergency.
