Mulago Specialised Women and Neonatal Hospital is a national referral hospital for mothers and newborns. It needed a public address and emergency voice alarm system covering the whole building, and a way to share live video from the operating theatres with the training room.
What we delivered
Emergency voice alarm
A TOA VM-3000 emergency voice alarm system across the hospital, with a fireman’s microphone and recorded emergency messages, so clear spoken instructions guide patients, visitors and staff.
Public address and background music
Ceiling speakers in corridors, wards, waiting areas and public spaces, zoned so announcements reach only the areas that need them. A TOA RM-200M remote microphone handles daily paging, and a Denon media player provides background music.
Telemedicine for the theatres
Cameras in the operating theatres feed live video and audio to the training room, so students and doctors can follow procedures without entering the theatre.
Design to commissioning
We designed the systems, supervised the installation, then tested, commissioned and handed over to the hospital team.
